Will the following HCPC work with my Panni 300 (pixel stuff) and if so what kind of improvments will it show over my existing setup (DVD player connected via component).

    HCPC,

    PIII 866
    256 MB Ram
    Abit 815 based MB
    17GB 7200 maxtor
    Radeon 7200 LE graphics card
Creative 6 x DVD rom (firmware flashed for region free)
    LG 12 x CD writer
    Quiet PC PSU.
White Desktop Case (apologies for that, it wasn't on show!)
    56K Modem.

PS know this is probs the wrong forum but what about sound?

AFAIK, 1:1 pixel mapping is impossible on the AE300, via either VGA or DVI.

Some have come very close, but nearly never won the race :)

Having just researched this topic this morning I have this thread on avsforums bookmarked , a pretty comprehensive summary of the situation .. sadly as Kramer says, it's not possible without some caveats, gotchas and maybes. :(

A real pity because it's certainly a nice machine for the price.

What kind of results would I get from it. Would the picture be distorted ect. If so is this machine in no good for me?
