Other than having a fairly dodgy name, this seems a decent PJ, albeit forking out £1700 (list price) for a WVGA DLP PJ seems a little on the pricey side vs what Infocus / Benq / Themescene etc are doing.

Anyway, it was this comment from Alvin Gold (the reviewer) which caught my eye...

"Onscreen resolution is typical of many budget projectors, and better than many LCD models..."

Eh?... Vs the proliferation of WXGA LCD machines around 1K, this seems a silly statement. Perhaps he means something different for "onscreen resolution..." but another comment in the conclusion suggests not...

"A quick comparison with the Screenplay 7200 shows superior onscreen resolution (720p) from the latter...".

It really is amazing how people can make such statements what they are clearly out of touch with what's going on in the current projector market... :suicide:

As a quick OT aside, how's about this classic from the review of the Samsing 745 DVD player...

"...connect this modest machine to an "HD ready" display device via DVI and you'll be rewarded with incredibly smooth and detailed high-def images"...

So DVD is Hi-Def... that'll save me some money!! No wonder people are confused about what Hi Def is and isn't...

Some of these reviewers could do with hanging around these forums... and if they already do... could they comment please!!

    ...PJ :)
