I have Just installed a firewire card which windows detected and installed drivers. I plug the camera in (MV750i) and it's detected and appears in my computer. When I double click on it I get an error message "creation of the video preview failed". Pinnacle sees the camera and the camera can be operated via pinnacle studio but no preview appears and it would capture dispite it seeming to go throught the motions. I've reinstalled all the drivers but have the same problem. I was wondering if my firewall (Norton) could be causing any problems as the firewire card appears as a network card and norton threw up a warning when I first conected the camera.

    Help.

Problem sorted. It was a windows problem although not sure what. A quick refresh by an install over the top sorted it out. :)
