Has anyone tried really, really, -really- long VGA cables to hook up their screen to their PC? I mean 20m or even 30m long ones that can be made to order???

I guess the shielding must be incredible to prevent signal loss over a long range as I was always led to beleive more than 2m was hard work to extend???

I have a 10m one - no problems at all (it is a decent shielded one though and slightly thicker than one you would get with a monitor).

I have a couple of 10M Van Damme ones and there is no discernible loss at the resolutions I'm running them at. (Max 1152 X 864) Haven't tried them at higher res. but I've no doubt they'd be just as good as shorter standard cables.
