I generally buy my DVD's (R1/R2) from either Play or FutureEnt with a slight preference toward FutureEnt due to them nearly always being around £1 cheaper than Play (not to mention a bit quicker). It appears that this scenario has become much less of a given over the last month with either Play cutting prices or FutureEnt increasing them.

Am I going mad or is this something everyone has noticed?

I think its the case of Futureent no longer offering as big discounts as they started doing a few months ago. Now similar prices to Play although some titles are £1 less at Futureent.

FutureEnt still don't offer the lowest price on any R1 disc that I have on order, or indeed at the time when those I own were purchased.

Sure, I suppose I could buy from A&B Sound if my ultimate concern was price, but the website is farcical and at the moment I get 3 day delivery from Future to Dublin. That's quicker than anyone I've used in the past.

I just thought it was strange that their pricing changed.

i've never used futureent! are they any good?

I've spent about £2000 on Play and i'm getting fed up with bilingual covers. Do futureent supply canadian or US DVDs?

You will also get Canadian covers from Futureent.
If you want US versions then for UK based e-tailer best source is Movietyme as they give you the choice of Canadian or US versions on many titles
BTW exepect to pay £2 to £3 more for the US, lower volumes sold by Movietyme (so less discount from their wholesalers), higher rrp in US, and not as good exchange rate make them more expensive.

Is there an echo in here.

Used Play and Future ent, found them both reliable, giving CD-WOW ago now, have heard goods things about them, don't mind giving anyone a try but as soon as they start cocking things up and giving bad customer service i'll find someone else.

That's one of my pet hates. I've got a large collection of DVDs with English only covers and it has been spoilt by recent ones that I've bought from Play which have French writing on them.

I'd be shocked if you were disappointed with CD-WOW Bob - best customer service I've ever experienced from a DVD supplier (or anyone else for that matter ), closely followed by EzyDVD. :)

I 'always' check via www.dvdpricecheck.co.uk regardless. I always seem to end up ordering form AB Sound. Cheapest most of the time with delivery as good or bad as anyone else.
