Have I upgraded RAM the correct way in my Imac?

I have just upgraded my late 2015 27inch 5K Imac's RAM from 8GB to 32GB. After upgrading, I checked the status of my Imac and it said 32GB. Have I 100% correctly installed the 32GB RAM?

Does this violate the gurrantee?

If it says 32gb then yes it is correct. It doesn't invalidate warranty as RAM is user upgradable.
