Have i made a mistake?

hi,

Was in Richer Sounds today and bought my self an amp (NAD C320 BEE) and some speakers (MS 902M).

They had non in stock so have had to order them in (therefor can change my mind if i wish).

I had done quite a bit of research on the amp, but the speakers less so. After a bit of a talk the staff member in RS advised the MS speakers so i took his advice and bought them. However after reading around i'm a little worried that the speakers might not be up to the job. Is this the case? £150 is my max budget should i maybe have gone for something different?

The room is small and i mainly listen to a wide range of music, but mainly rock/blues/hip hop.

I think my main concern is with their bass capabilities, some have suggested this area is weak.

Any help would be much appreciated.

For £150 I'd have gone for the Wharfedale Diamond 9.1's or AE Aego 1. If you do change your mind on the MS, then check those 2 out.

9.1's every day of the week. Well worth £30 over budget.

Luckly RS have a 14 day return policy, looks like i might be making use of this.
Am going to listen to a few sets of speakers including the 9.1's and then make my mind up, but the 9.1's do seem to get really good reviews all.

Do any others come to mind for this sort of price, (around the £150 mark, maybe £200 at a push!)?

Will let you know what i decide.

have been chatting to a guy at superfi in leeds. am going to go in to leeds on saturday and try out the 9.1's.

He also said he had a pair of Mission V61's in for £150, not second hand just discontinued.

What do you think to these?

Update: Well i went for the missions, they are very very good.

Compared the two and there was no contest really.
