Are you looking at getting the Apple SuperDrive or one by a different company? Anything you want to know in particular?

I've got a Maxell Multi CD/DVD Writer that I picked up in Costco a while back for about £25. Works just fine!! No idea why they call it a Multi though - it only takes one disc at a a time!!

I second MrSossidge - Samsung SE208 (around £21 on Amazon - about 1/3 the price of a Superdrive and probably as good if not better).

Multi = Multi format means it can burn different types of media DVD-R, DVD+R DVD-RW etc :)

Agree on Samsung. Bought one last November for £20 on Amazon. Plug and play, has worked effortlessly every time but like Mr Sossidge - don't use it very often.

I've just built a pic and I didn't put a dvd drive in because of the Samsung. But I haven't used it at all with the PC.
