    Hi,
I'm new here, but was able to see ppl reporting the same issue I'm having with my H30, i.e. the smearing of colours and blurring of the picture.

I couldn't find anybody reporting a solution to the prob so far.

Is there a fix for this, since I've tried all possible settings on the PJ, prog scan and interlaced, component cable and S-video, two DVD players, but no results. My firmware is c07, and I watch only PAL R2 DVD's.

    thanks folks!

Got my H30 last April, never had any problems with smearing or blurring just a fantastic picture all round.

Only ever had it connected RGB from SCART on an SVGA cable though so perhaps thats worth a try, you should have had a SCART adaptor supplied with it.

Optoma claim somewhere in their advertising blurb that the H30 is optimised for RGB and that its as good as component although I know some purists on this forum would argue that theoretically it couldnt be.
