ive tried a search but didnt find anything. i need something for uni and just wondering if the pc resolution will affect the quality compared to 720p which is what im used to at home on my sony lcd.

I have my PS3 connected to my monitor at 1680x1050 (Samsung Syncmaster SM206BW). Not sure I understood what you are after. A picture of the screen with the PS3 switched on running at 1080P?

well basically 720p and 1080p are 16:9 if im correct and the monitor is 16:10 ratio. i want to see how much of the picture is squashed to fit the 1050 resolution and how much it looks different to a 720p or 1080p picture. also whats the best input into the monitor?(720,1080i,1080p)

edit: so im after a picture of your monitor with ps3 on (with 720p/1080p, what ever is best) so i can compare it with normal 16:9 resolutions.
