Has any noticed that the Advance Scart Cable gives out a 'darker' image than usual?

Has any one noticed when connecting the Xbox to the TV using Microsoft's official advance scart cable, that it gives a noticably 'darker' image than say using standard composite or s-video cables? Why is that?

For those of you who are using the component cable for your Xbox, can you please confirm whether or not you get the same darker image as the advance scart cable?

PS The reason why I'm concerned is that I've configured my TV settings using 'Avia' and I really don't want to alter the settings (brightness) everytime I use my Xbox.

Generally using RGB connections does tend to darken the image slightly !!
