I was in Harrods this morning and they had dozens of plasmas and LCDs on view, including the new Fuji 30 series in both 42 and 50 versions. They ALL looked awful even though some of them were showing DVDs. Too bright, fuzzy, faces looking waxy, artefacts all over the place. Do you think the manufacturers don't know/don't care? I find it very puzzling that stores are allowed to get away with displays like this. The prices were through the roof too, but you'd expect that.
