I have the following kit and would like to see if the Harmony 525 would operate them all...

Panasonic 42px60
Denon 3156
Sky+ (soon to be HD)
Oppo 981
Wii

I hope someone will be able to answer my question, as I would like to order it tonight (if possible)

Thankyou in advance

Go here and set your self up as a new member, and then you can have full access to the full database, and even set up ready before buying, doing the whole thing online is just as easy, if not easier than doing it from the software cd, then you can be sure you kit will work with it.

One bad thing about the 525,the numbers/colours seem to rub of the rubber buttons very easily.:thumbsdow
Also take a look at the 885,have both and the 885 is a far better remote.

P.s the wii won't work with harmony remotes.

Is there a big price difference...not so sure I can justify a big price increase!

Good luck for Saturday....:smashin:

No problems.:D

For me the 885 is a far better remote, don't really like the 525 so stuck it in the bedroom. The main thing that winds me up is the clicking of the hard buttons on the 525.Having to change the batteries and just looks cheap.
The 885 can be had for about £100 and is worth every penny in my book.

I also have both, the 525 is stuffed in a cupboard. For usability the 885 is SO much better and IMO worth the extra outlay. The buttons on the 525 are too small and too close together for comfort. The 885 is a joy to use

i have thge 525 and i hated the hard clicking of the centre buttons..

are you saying the 885 doesn't have this? they have a "soft" click?

if so, i'll gladly sell my 525 (PM me if you're interested, otherwise it goes on ebay).. and pick up the 885..

Thanks
