Question Harmony hub and virgin v3 box

Guys I have just got my virgin v3 box working and tried to add my harmony hub to connect to it. I opened the app up and the phone is connected to the virgin box. However when I look in the WiFi connections within the app the virgin WiFi isn’t available? I switched off the 5ghz mode and it then picked it up but surely this isn’t a good solution? Should it not work on the 5ghz range as well? Anyone any ideas? As I want to used the 5ghz range too
 
Well after setting it up I switched back on the 5ghz range and it’s still up and running ok. Must be a quirk in the setup?
 
How far away are the hubs as 5Ghz doesn't have nearly as good range as 2.4Ghz? If it is range then you might get the hub losing connection every so often.

I have all my smart home devices on their own 2.4Ghz SSID so they can all talk to each other with no range issues.
