    Anyone using Hk 25 with a projector? Does it output true pal prog or interpolated ntsc? What's the craic with these - any good?

    Yes it's true PAL progressive scan with the appropriate software loaded.

    I have one with PAL and NTSC progressive which I may be selling if you are interested

    Are these players as good as the likes of Prog scan Tosh, Marantz or Philips936?

    They have it in a shop in Belfast, listed at £350 but will do it for £300cash... It's called Dot Quaver...I think.

    Brought it as I thought my TV did PAL Prog - it doesn't :blush: !!

    Let me know if you are interested and I will stick it in the classified section for about £270 inc p&p

    I think the Tosh 520 is a great machine (on my HT1000 anyway) - it appears to have the same kind of dac as the HK, so should render a similar image I would think. The 520 can be bought for around £175 on the net, and Richer Sounds price match. :)

    The Tosh 220 has a lesser dac, while the Pioneer 757i has a better one.
