    Hi

Ive just bought this AMP, and have started going through the many features that it offers.

at one point it states that you can set the speakers up, the kind of set up and sound pressure meter would do.

ive used it, its fairly simple, but...

... does anyone know if it is as good as a proper SPM?

    Hi,

I had a HK 5500 and used the remote of the HK to set it up, it is not bad but when i used my SPL meter it was quite alot out, by about 2-3db which i needed to increase by on each channel, i think it is best to say that you can't beat a SPL meter to be sure anyway.
Again every room is different so that is just my opinion :)

    John
