    Hullo.

I'm upgrading my DVD player soon. I only have a £150 Panasonic Job at the moment, and i'm looking around the £400 mark for a suitable upgrade.

I'm thinking about the Harman Kardon 31 (http://www.avland.co.uk/harmankardon/dvd31/dvd31.htm) It's that or the 22, which is £100 cheaper. What am I getting for the £100 extra? Is it worth while? Or should I stick with the 22, which looks the same. It's just i'm not sure of the specs.

I might be changing my amplifier to the harman 630 (http://www.avland.co.uk/harmankardon/avr630/avr-630.htm) and then adding the PA 4000 Power amp (http://www.avland.co.uk/harmankardon/pa4000/pa4000.htm) So i'd like everything to match and be very compatible.

    Cheers folks.

I cannot comment on the models you mention but I am very happy with my DVD30. A big improvement on my previous panasonic s75, which is still a great machine at the price.

I would strongly recommend listening to the amps before you buy. I recently had a demo of several amps including HK. They all produced very different sounds so it really would be a case of personal preference

I used to have the S75, so it's good to hear there's a big difference. :)
