Disregarding price, which DVD player do you think offers better audio and video quality?

By the way, right now I am leaning towards the Harman Kardon DVD 30, but I just want your opinions before I make my final decision.

    Are you talking to yourself?

Looking at the other thread I think you should just go and buy the HK either the 25 which I have as is very good or the 30 if you need the extras

    Just tied the score. :smashin:

Both are excellent players within their price range, and both offer fine DeInterlacing and PS output.

Then it's a question of DVD-Audio vs. SACD and plastic vs. aluminium front panel.

I decided for the Sony 930 due to having been completely satisfied with the Sony 900.

To be sure, give both a try and go for the better one in your opinion.

I don't have enough info to vote. Both are meant to be excellent. I do like the idea of plugging in a good pair of headphones into the DVD30 and listering in privacy though. Its a shame Sony have removed this from their mid range dvd players now. I see the older Sony model had it.
