    Hello,
has anyone got/seen one of the above in action. I'm having difficulty locating one. I'm after something with progressive scan for a plasma and this appears pretty good spec wise. Or any recomendations appreciated similar price (£500) or maybe more?!.

It does sound interesting. See the Harman Kardon section for more details. I've seen it advertised at
    www.homecinemaheaven.com

For similar spec and price I would look at the Denon DVD2800 (maybe cheaper now there is a MkII version coming out).

And if its anything like the SD110 and 210e, there`ll be loads of returns, which is why we for one aren`t stocking Tosh stuff anymore. Their stuff (SD100e, 2109, etc) was nice reliable stuff, but the above have been a nightmare to many dealers with dodgy PSUs, laser alignment problems and just general shoddy build quality. As such i just cnnot recommend a SD510e to anyone, buy a Pioneer Dv646A for the same money, or buy the HK (which will blow the Tosh away anyway!).

    Justin

I own the 510 now, I will post here if it breaks.
I think you will find that advertising is not allowed on Threads!

    Not an advert surely?
It is interesting to get a dealers perspective on recent products and hence I don't mind him owning up to being in the business.
To his credit also he did not post their prices or link to their site, so I think we can let him off here.
    Regards,
