On the audio side, 24 bit/192 kHz audiophile-grade Wolfson digital-to-analog converters deliver enhanced audio playback. When you add built-in MP3 decoding, picture zoom, multiple search speeds and a backlit remote control, there isn't a more capable or versatile DVD player out there.

The Harman Kardon DVD 25 - the ultimate home entertainment component.
I've found it on sale for about 120 euros (80 pounds).

Thanks!

P.S.: What do you think about the Thomson TV? How do you compare it to a Panasonic TX-32PD30D?

The only place I found it for 120 euros was on an e-bay auction in some country or other. What will the highest bid be? Where did you see it??

Mate, get a 25 at that price, silver or not! looks / sounds better than any of the competition below 500 squid, but admittably get's it's arse kicked soooooo far by the Arcam 88..
maybe you could pick up an 88p on ebay?
othewr than that, the Pioneers are canny, but aren't stereo players, and the Denons are a bit behind the competition IMHO.
