Harman Kardon AVR247 popping?!

I have a Harman Kardon AVR247 with Virgin+ box with the audio out optical and between ad breaks quiet spots it seems to pop/tick. Has anyone else encountered this on any amps?

Is it likey to be a problem of:
V+ ?
SP/DIF ?
Amp ?
Speakers ?

How old is the amp? Just did a google search on hk and there seems to be a lot of these problems - but they seem to date back a while.
Seems HK know of these problems and are very apologetic and sort things out if you give them a bell.

is only a few months old. I know it was end of line but was a bargain. So I imagine it has the latest firmware.

Where did you find info. I couldn't find anything.

AVS Forum seems to be the main place the problem is talked about. The info I got was all around early 2008 and the first 247's. I'd send HK an email and they can confirm what firmware etc. As I say, they seem very good with customer support which is a big bonus!

I had a look through AVS and I have done a master reset which seems to have worked!
