I did audition one last week with the Focal JMLabs sib and cub package and thought it sounded very good. Does anyone actually own one? And is it as good as I thought it was?

Don't own one but have listened to one a number of times - thought it was excellent and to my ears better than the much lauded Pioneer 5i/2011. Where it seemed particulalrly strong was in stereo driving my Linn Keilidh's - didn't notice much diffrence to my Audiolab 8000 in truth.

Thanks Ross. Since my enquiry I've read 2 reviews of the H&K - one in Home Cinema Choice - and both have been very good. I really went to audition the Kef 'eggs' but was more impressed with the 5550 and the Focal JM Labs package. I'm putting in my order now. Thanks.

    Paul,

A bit late maybe, but I am VERY impressed with my 5550 - I'm sure you'll enjoy yours just as much!!
