I am considering buying Harman Kardon AVR 1550. I am using Yamaha DSP A 5 at the moment in one room . I am planing to have another set with PJ in another room thats why I am planing to buy HK AVR 1550 . I have used previously HK 3350 R stereo amp few years back it was excellent . The Hk 1550 I intend to buy is rated 40 W for Center , Surround and rear . For Stero mode its rated at 50 W / channel. It will cost about US $ 350 . Some of the folks recommnd it and tell me that the 40 Watt will not be any draw back because its High current Amp. I dont know exactly how the High current can produce better sound or wattage . What is the High Current thing all about ? Also would you recommnad it ?
