    Hi guys.

I just bought a Road Angel plus and a Garmin nuvi 200 for my Mitsubishi Evo 9 today.

I want to have both these units hardwired neatly to the car to there are no messy cables running to the 12v power supply.

Is this possible and if so, is it safe?

If the answer to both these questions is yes then does anyone know where I could get hold of suitable 12V cables for both units to use?

    Many thanks!

You need to retain the transformer on the end of the charging cable so most people purchase extension cigarette lighter sockets from Halfords and then hard wire these to the wiring loom, either direct from the battery or via the wiring to the existing cigarette lighter socket.
You can then tuck the extension socket away behind the dash.
I have a Civic and there are a number of examples on this site http://www.civinfo.com/ so I bet there will be similar examples on an Evo site.
