Hardware or Software decoding and what Codec

been off the scene for awhile
are you guys still using the graphics card for decoding/deinterlacing video?
what codec?

i am still using an nvidia 7500gt onboard decoder with powerdvd

yes i use powerdvd for dvd's
question is whether there is now an improved codec to powerdvd and the hardware solution i am now using?

your using one of the best solutions there powerdvd changing your default codec will not change a thing may make things wourse

you have a nvidia card yea have you ever tryed this it will take avantage of your chipset on card ..this is there player

instead of using software it will use a hardware solution :thumbsup:
