just about to go outside warranty, so I fancy a full on hardware mod, ideally binning macrovision and all the user restrictions - anyone know of a dealer that may be able to do this for me? Time doesn't matter too much, I'm only at home on weekends during term time.

I already use the handset hack (have done from day 1) but want to hardware mod it to lose all the crappy restrictions.

Sorry, I may have made a mistake there.
The Wharfedale M5 is a Sampo based player, and I thought the 750 was too.(next time. 1. brain. 2. thought. 3.fingers/keyboard. 4.Stay off the beer.)
