I have an Amstrad box, Model number A20AE07 and Version Number 4F2001 What is the best/biggest drive I can use? I heard that my version (4F2001) might be limited to 120GB is this true? And will I need special tools?

    Help!
    :lease:

No, you should be OK with up to 250GB with the Amstrad box, but Amstrads can be a little "picky" about which drives you can use, because the power supplies in these boxes aren't very robust. Many people have fitted the Samsung 160GB drives with a good success rate. See the "What drives were used to upgrade" thread in this section for more discussion on this - you may have to scroll back quite a few pages to find it.

P.S. Seems someone just posted in it - it's currently 4 posts down :)
