Is it possible to buy a hard drive recorder? I have a Toshiba DVD player that I am very happy with. I have no desire to record on to DVD's from TV - I have a DVD burner on my PC

You can buy any of several PVR's with built-in HDrive, EPG & twin freeview tuners for around £150-200

Thanks for the information guys. I have NTL cable and no TV ariel so I don't really want FreeView. Are there any Hard Drive recorders that do not have a built in tuner? Will the ones you have suggested work with cable?
