Though I might start a posotive thread about people that are happy with their TV, might give people reading the forum what TV's people are generally happy with. If there are slight nigles please list them.

I will start. I own a Panasonic TX28PK1 which is 4 years old and on the who I have so far really enjoyed watching it. I can notice slight flickering on really bright scene's but overall the picture is excellent with good colour definition, the geometry is not spot on but is good for a crt.

I'm very happy with my Loewe Aconda 9281ZW. The picture is amazing, good sound, very easy to use, good connectivity and it looks good with decent build quality to boot.

    Niggles - None.

    Loewe Vitros 6381.

    Ecstatic. :D :smashin:

I spent a very long time auditioning sets after the trouble I had with my last Sony, and was not too impressed with most of the stuff I saw in the high street shops (including the Vitros, due to the poor quality aerial feed). Eventually got one from a hifi shop, and cannot fault it. Picture quality is outstanding, geomoetry near perfect, ditto horizontal and vertical position. No nasty lines or colour blotches on the screen. In short, everything we should expect from a TV in this day and age.

I'm so very relieved that I don't have to send this set back, and the next one, and the next one etc. as we hear from so many forum members. Judging from other Loewe owners on these boards, this is the norm (as it should be with all brands) for this company. Thank goodness quality control still exists somewhere in the world.

I've had excellent service from two Sony KV2706's which I bought in 1983.

Obviously looking a bit tired now after countless thousands of hours, but I wonder if my latest widescreen Panny will look as good in 2025!

Loewe Xelos. An excellent product in all respects. Looks great switched on or off, some very nice features and a doddle to use.

    loewe vitros 6381

Given to me as a gift - never heard of Loewe TVs before I got it but when I set it up I was amazed by the quality of picture, functionality, build and looks, the previous owner had it for about 2 years but is not outdated in any way. - superb TV:)

Delighted with my Tosh 36ZD26P. Have only noticed bands down the side of the screen once (Mummy Returns desert scene), very, very occasionally I notice a humming. Both of these are such minor defects, they should by no means put anyone off.

I do take issue with some of the recommended settings I've seen around here. I'd advise adjusting from Setup 2 rather than 3 - from 3 the Sky menu looks trash.

VERY happy with my Toshiba 42WH36P. Fantastic image quality for a rear projection TV, bettering many a plasma in my humble opinion.

Great features too, including PAL Progressive Scan which works very well. Sound isn't that good though, but hey, thats what the amp and av speaker setup is for anyway :):)

Happy with Panasonic TX32PS5 better than my old 32 inch Toshiba apart from the lack of extra scart socket
    :)

Absolutely chuffed to bits with my new Tosh 42wh36.

DVD PQ is nothing short of spectacular and very happy the the picture on Sky. Would recommend it to anyone.

Even my missus loves it now after saying that she hated it when I first switched it on.

Loewe Xelos for 28" 10 months then swapped for a Loewe Xelos 32"

Around for 3 years and 5*****!

Only would trade it for another Loewe, maybe a Vitros!

I am very happy with my Toshiba 57WH36P, the best TV i ever had, great value for it's money.

Can't complain on anything really because it's so tweakable if you want to fix things yourself.
