Just like to wish everyone on here a VERY Happy New Year.

May your dead pixels stay in the grave, never to reincarnate.
And may your dust spots get blown away by the fresh blast of good will :smashin:

Have a great 2005 everyone, and I wonder what models we'll all be waiting for this coming christmas?
    :hiya:

Well, I'm sorry, but I have to say it....

What a load of MISERABLE BUGGERS there are on here today :thumbsdow

I Happily wished everyone on here a "Happy new year" this morning.

Load of postings to this forum, even 26 views to my best wishes thread, and not 1 single person could be arsed to say Happy New year back or to anyone else on here.

So much for good cheer from all eh? :(

Thanks for the good wishes guys.

Yes, I know this is a projectors area but (like myself) I'm sure not everyone visits all parts of the forum all the time, so in thinking that I'd thought I'd wish everyone who just visits here a happy new year,

And a very happy new year back to you 3.

Just a shame the other 59 people who viewed this thread can't be arsed!!!!

he he. never mind, I tried :)

Must admit, I'd like to upgrade my projector this year, and now we seem to have the 4 BIG Name models to choose from Panasonic, Hitachi, Sanyo and Sony.

Hearing good and bad things about al of them

    Panasonic Banding
    Sanyo Colour issues
    Sony Dull
Hitachi (actually heard least negative about this that any of them)

But then there is a sony call back, and people saying it's not dull.

As I've said before, I wish some shop person would set all 4 up and give a review.

As one of the 59 persons that saw your post but did not reply and in a feeble attempt to avoid getting "Arsed" (... English not being my native language, I don't know precisely what it means, but it surely sounds as something to avoid ;) ), here is to you and all other forum members:

 Best wishes of a happy New Year.

These are sincere wishes in spite of me being doubly depressed.

First, as an AV freak because the Sony HS50 can not be seen anywhere near the Portuguese shops (does it really exist, or is it just a figment of my web-controlled overactive imagination?)

Secondly, but foremost, because of the tragic events in Asia. Because of them I do not feel in a very happy and festive mood...As a matter of fact some of the celebrations we saw yesterday, on the usual TV "all over the world celebrations sweep-over" reporting, hit our family in a strange way...

As usual it was nice to see people so happy, but it also felt kind of obscene, under the circumstances...
