Hey guys,

I cannot decide between these 2 tv's

which would you recommend?

i can get the tosh for £476 using egg card discount from dixons

and the xv37 for £487.50

or would you recommend something different?

i can afford upto around £550
Its gonna be for at the mo, sd viewing, some xbox/xbox360 and gonna be hooking up my laptop
sky hd soonish possibly
so an allrounder tv is best?

thanks guys

Hannspree XV37 isn't a bad buy, the backlight is a bit bright and there's some tearing when connecting a PC up through VGA or HDMI, Component is fine however.

Got the 32C3030DB and I'm impressed by PQ.
Backlight and shed loads of settings can be altered to suit.
I wanted a LCD TV that performs and I feel I have got this with the Tosh.
You get what you pay for and for £500 you can't go wrong with this set.
Don't know about the Hanspree so can't comment but Tosh I would recommend...

As I have not see both in action like probably most people I cant comment on the PQ but you have look what are the noticeable differences

The Toshiba has a extra HDMI inputs, has a digital tuner, from the specs it has a higher contrast (dynamic probably) and can you only presume because it's a Toshiba it has better PQ (though don't take my word for it)

The Hannspree has 5 extra inches in screen size and has a extra year in warranty

Unless you know someone who has a Hannspree it what be hard to compare side by side as they don't sell on the high street.
So what it comes down to really is what is more important from the differences mentioned above.
