Hoping for some advice from the collective mind...................
Some years ago ,on the advce of this forum, I bought a Hannspree Xv 37” lCD TV I has worked perfectly, and I'm very satisfied with it.
I've recently also bought a new laptop fitted with an HDMI port, so I tried connecting it to the TV via the HDMI port. It works, but only sort of. The picture is offset to the right, such that about 1/3 is off the side of the screen with a corresponding blank area to the left. I've connected the laptop to another PC and it works fine, so the fault is with the Hannspree.
There are a limited number of settings available on the setup menu, but nothing that enable the picture to be centred. Can anyone advise what is wrong?
