If this pans out it could turn the PS3 into an unbelievably good multiregion bluray player and media centre, I`d consider buying one just for that purpose so I didn`t have to take it online. I think there`s definately something in this story, although it seems to be getting far too much publicity and Sony will no doubt go to any lengths to stop this becoming public. I hope Mr Hotz has got access to decent lawyers. Trouble is of course that we`ll just end up with rampant piracy/iso loaders much like the PSP/Wii scene.
