Hehe, remember they are renders, the finished product will most probably look a lot different.

Given the technology they are proposing to use, I don't see the PSP in it's current design making the shelves for a long time. At least not until the time that Nintendo release a new handheld.

I imagine the PSP will be aimed at the adult gamer market, whereas the majority of gameboy advance users are teenagers.

I see them sitting quite happily side by side.

The Zodiac does look interesting but it is essentially a Palm PC, another niche product I doubt will do well.

The PSP will not sit well in a market where it's price tag is over £100, no one in their right mind would buy what is a portable unit for much over that.

Sony do not want a small adult type games machine that sits next to the GBA, they will want a mass market product. This means it has to be cheap, robust and have a general appeal.

I cannot see the PSP hitting any shops soon. I would be very surprised if it hit the Q2 2004 mark and very surprised if the games are supposed to cost around £20.

You'll probably be able to buy it with a phone contract for a nominal amount if indeed it has an intergrated 3g phone or equivilent by the time it comes out
