I finally got around to playing Halo co-op last night and it adds a whole new dimension to an already awesome game. Particular fun could be had by running down my mate with a Warthog - heh heh.

I think my mate is buying an XBOX and a copy of Halo at lunch today.

easily the best way to play the game. I've been playing through with a mate and it's just so different to the one player game. Absolute riot..:D

i'd be right in thinking that a co-op game can't be saved though, yes? admittedly i'd had a few beers at the time, but i couldn't find the save option for the life of me.

I highly agree, Halo coop is great.

I just spent an entire weekend round a mates, and we went through the whole game on Normal co-op, I had not played Halo before (but had finished goldeneye on 00 Agent though) and after a couple of levels was happily ducking in and out of cover and lobbing grenades around like a veteran.

    Top game

My only complaint with Halo Co-op is that you can only do it on one machine, you should be able to play co-op on two machines, that way each player will get full screen. With any luck we my see that in Halo 2.

Me and my brother played the first two levels the other day, when we got onto the third and had the sniped rifles, I suddenly decided I didn't like him any longer and did the only reasonable thing - shot the git. We then spent about an hour having an unplanned death match. :D

My mate was flying a Ghost and I got him with the rocket launcher - very satisfying!
