    Help anybody.

    Equipment sony KLV-L32M1 LCD TV.

No matter what input source I use, dark text with light background appears to have a shimmering/heat haze around it. Can anybody explain why and how it may be reduced or removed.

On another note why does the picture look grainer when using a component input sourced from a RF signal on the the TV when using a sony dvd recoder as the output source when compared to RGB straight into the TV.
