I know this ain't out on the street yet but is anyone aware what some retailers are looking to charge?

I'm after a low pricematch with gamestation as i'm looking to p/ex LMA 2004 and GTA.

    Cheers.

Probably the usual rip-off price of £37.99 or some such.

If you are a student, always buy from HMV as they give you 10% off, making it £35.99

HMV have 10% off all games now, so price will be £35.99 whether a student or not

seeing as the first one cost me 350quid !
    40quid seems quite reasonable.

get what you pay for and in Halo 2's case I'd say £37-£40 is very reasonable :)

It'd be worth checking if Argos have it, they seem to be selling all their titles at £29.99 at the mo. I picked up GTA san andreas for 29.99 and everywhere else in the highstreet was at least 37.99

I checked HMV & Game in the Metrocentre on Tuesday and they both said £40. Grainger games may be cheaper.

    Cheers,

Dixons are offering a free copy of Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow with Halo 2. A friend of mine bought a copy at lunchtime.

There is a voucher in the Nuts magazine this week which gets you £5 off any title £39.99 or more so unless they are doing Halo for £39.98 you should be able to get £5 off it.

I just bought Halo 2 from my local Game store in Sutton and they are offering £32 for 4 trade-in games against the selling price, so I paid £7.99 for mine, plus 4 crappy games I don't play any more! :)

Games Guru - why do you think that 37.99 is a ripoff? - i think that for the amount of enjoyment i'll get from the title its fine. I agre that if the game is poor then £38 is a rip off but for a good game like splinter cell, halo or GTA its ok.

What do you think is an acceptable price?
