As many others I am new to the whole game, I am planning a new setup in my living room to include a false wall etc etc.

I have already bought a Panasonic pwd6 with Panny tuner box, I have sky, a vcr, ps2 and a cheap LG all in one dvd 5.1 set up.

The LG is being replaced with a seperate dvd, amp and speakers shortly.

I really want to know the best way of connecting everything, which leads to get, and maybe suggestions for dvd, amp & speakers.

(I am currently considering MS Premiers, Denon 1905, and the &60 Tosh dvd that got rave review in What Hifi.)

    Thankyou please

i think the first bit of advice would be to ditch the tuner and buy the direct input boards...scart, component, etc as appropriate.

sorry for late reply.....your choice of amp will play a big part in the decision as you have a range of choices for connecting to the screen including vga, scart and component......but buying the right amp can minimise input boards...what do you have in mind?

right, after a day spent trawling through most relevant threads here, i have decided amp wise to go for the Denon 1905, and dvd player Toshiba sd340.

a couple of things i forgot before, i want to include my beloved snes (couldnt be without mario kart) and possibly my laptop for a net connection( i realise this might pose a problem with the vga input board)

i am also going to get the rgb-vga convertor.

so - what is the best and cheapest way of connecting everything to the screen? i look forward to any help i am offered!
