Cheers for that- I had a look at www.iwantoneofthose.com and the cheapest is £70- and that only holds 6 beers!

Tempting in getting that Maplins one now, esp with this hot weather!!! mmmm cold beer....

MAKRO is also selling a fridgemaster FM11s Mini cooler/warmer for the same price £39.99, unfortunately plus VAT. There are stores located all over the UK, but you need to be a member & VAT registered to apply.

Can you leave them pluged in all the time or are they only for occasional use?

If you register your e-mail address for newsletter on the Maplin website you get 3 coupouns - £2 off everything,£5 off anything about £50 and £10 off anything above £100.
I ordered myself a cordless RF mouse(half price) thus pushing the price of the fridge and the mouse above £50,thereby getting a further £5 off.

well, i went and got one of these today, it looks really cool, however to me it dont seem that cold even though i have had it plugged in now for around 4 hours, any one else finding that or have i got a dodgy one as well. oh and by the way, i think using it as a cooler for the beer in the cinema room, i'd think again, the fan is damm noisy imo. it would need its own hush box.:D makes the projector seem quiet that's for sure.

    All the best..Splice.;)

Was hoping the little consumer fridges weren't gonna be loud as the real thing cos I got a big Becks one straight out of a pub and it's the loudest thing I have ever heard! If they're emptying the bottle bank over the road I just make sure the fridge is on to drown out the noise!!!!!

So I leave it on during the day and turn it off in the evening when i'm watching telly / movies. (and usually back on again overnight if drinking shall continue over the weekend) It pretty much stays cold enough all round

(Mind you it does only take about an hour to chill 24 bottles :p)
