Haier 30" LCD @ ebuyer £468.07+vat

I had mine delivered on Friday.
What a nice peice of kit & for the cost superb buy!!!

Using it as a monitor / TV for the office.
Played BF2 on it over the weekend & it was like being there, it's sooooo big compared to my old 17"

Keeping the DVI connection in the back spare for when the 360 arrives :)
(although the wife doesn't know yet)

I'm telling you for £550 you can't go wrong :)

Don't want to be a spoil-sport but doesn't the "360" only support VGA and components i.e. analog connections?

Surprisingly, there doesn't seem to be any support for digital outputs (DVI/HDMI), perhaps to keep costs down due to licensing fees?

Taken from the ebuyer blurb:

Connector 15 Pin D-sub/DVI/Component/S-video/AV/RF/SCART

Remember that HDTV Ready in the States doesn't necessarily mean the same as "HD Ready" as understood over here. For instance the ebuyer spec mentions a maximum input res of XGA via analogue and SXGA via digital, but no mention of 720p/1080i @ the all important 50Hz, or HDCP compatibility on the DVI port.

Still, for just over £500 notes I'm tempted myself...

looks like the price has gone up to 599 inc vat....

Just bought one of these and I'm very impressed for the price so far. Does anyone have a Sky remote code for Haier by any chance ?
