Had My LG RH177 For 2 Hours And...

I can't get a sound through the tuner!I've tested a couple of dvd's on it and can get sound through the player.
I also done some recording on the hdd through the tuner and still no sound.Do you guys think this is a fault or maybe i missed something?
Your opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the quick reply JayCee,checked out what you highlighted,still no sound.
Plugged my old JVC video back in and no problems,changed over the scarts,but it didn't help.
I'll take it back tomorrow and try and get a replacement.

Ok,took the unit back to the shop where i got it,one of the salesmen tried for about 40 mins to get sound from it,
but alas never managed it.Then was told that it was the last one,i complained a bit and walked out with a Panasonic DRM-EZ25,
is this a good result?

Just hooked up the Panasonic and i am very impressed.Loads of features to get a hold of and excellent picture quality
.....but,it's quite noisy when playing a DVD,although its not noisy when playing a DVD that has been recorded on the machine itself.
