I just got mine, and the seller said it was multiregion. However, when I got it out the box, there was just some handset hack instructions on home to make it multiregion, and they didn't work :thumbsdow

I've swept the net, but nothing happening. Anyone know any?

The good folk at leconcepts just told me
Power Up
Open Tray
Type 2403960
You then get a menu, press 9
I haven't tried it yet

that would be doubtful, as none of the previous toshiba models had handset hacks (at least the budget 220 330 and the like), but firmware could be downloaded, and all the budget models seemed to have the same firmware, although somebody else should be able to confirm this.

I tried this last night & it worked.
I thought it was doubtful that toshiba would allow a handset hack, but unless leconcepts have done something to the firmware themselves, this must be a new direction for toshiba.

well, i'm gald to be proven wrong on this, all companies should be selling their machines mr out of the box, but failing that handset hacks will do. gh, is it permenant or enter as you go type of code.
