    Hi,

Has anyone got the IR codes for the hack on a DMRE55 so it can be programmed into a Pronto?

    Thanks,

Hopefully, this would also work with the DMR100E?

    Any One?

The Pronto can only learn 1 command at a time, so I don't think you can 'learn' the remote hack.
The special remote you need to hack it actually sends out multiple commands.

Given the popularity of both the Pronto and the Panasonics, I'd have thought if this were possible it would have been common knowledge along time ago.
    Unfortunately, it is not.

There's a guy on Ebay that sells pre-programmed remotes for just about any make of DVD recorder. They are programmed to work just once, and then you send the remote back. The commands to program the Panasonics cannot be sent via an ordinary remote.

P.S. The guy doesn't seem to trade on Ebay any more. There is a company www.dvdcodes.net that offers a similar product - I don't know if it's the same guy
