After weeks of trying to contact Optoma and the retailer who I bought the H30 from, I have still been unable to source the 16:9 lens mask for the H30. One was promised but has never turned up. Allegedly this lens mask is meant to improve the already good contrast on this projector by masking the 150 lines of resolution from the turned off pixels (4:3 to 16:9). It has been suggested within the massive H30 thread that it may make a difference. Are there H30 owners out there who could advise?? Maybe I should just give up and enjoy the projector although I can't help thinking that the mask may be another worthwhile tweak to squeeze the maximum potential from this projector.
