    Hello!

I have a very annoying problem with my amp. It increases the sound level by it self (the level varies anywhere between 1-30db) in sudden bursts. A little while after i adjust it, it does it again. I've checked the batteries and they are ok. I can't use it until i fix this so if anyone has any suggestions what the problem may be, I would be most grateful.

    Thanks

    Robert

You don't have a remote transmitter to control the amp/satellite from another room or anything like that nearby do you?

We had a similar problem with an HK 630, the volume would shoot up and down for no reason. It turned out to be the remote transmitter that is used to control the satellite box from another room. As soon as we unplugged this, the problem went away.

Weird, i removed the remote from the room and then everything worked (the batteries are fresh and working). Can it be the remote itself that's broken somehow?

Could be the remote emitting a signal when it shouldn't. Something inside stuck down maybe.
