My Yammy DSP A2 has decided not to play ball anymore!

Powers up fine with the mute on, but anything more than 10% volume and its shutting down. At low (very low) volume, it stays on but as soon as its turned up ...shut down:confused:

Possible causes and repair bills PLEASE!:suicide:

or is it time to say goodbye:hiya: (hope not)

    cheers

    Taz.

I assume you've checked for any leads which might be shorting or anything like that? If its shutting down then i'd assume this would be an amplification related thing. Does it do it in stereo mode as well ie with 'effect off'? It doesn't have an impedence setting switch that might have got changed somehow? Does it do the same using headphones? Are you able to test it with a different amp via pre outs?
These are the things that i would try, so I expect I might well not be helping much.
