Got me 3220 this morning complete with 2 scart leads (1 free), VGA lead and composite leads.

I ordered the machine form Digital-point and both the machine and their service are very very good.

This is an excellent DVD/DivX lalyer for the price of only £91.99 and i can recommend the 3220 to anyone who's looking for a good DivX player.

It plays MP3's and Jpeg images to perfection too.

The picture and sound quality is great for a machine so cheap.

    :D

EDIT The machine does progressive scan too via component sockets.

    NOOOOOOOOOOO!

Come on mate, it's all rigged up now and exactly the way i want it so i don't want to mess.

maybe you could phone digtial Point and ask them?

It's probably the same resolution as the rest of the DVD/DivX players on the market.

    :lease: Hi,

I got my Dx-3220 today and was very ****** to find that none of my many backed up dvds, all on Infiniti -R x2 and burnt at x2 speed, will play properly.

The picture and sound break up intermitantly. I have tried aroung 6 titles, which I have confirmed again in my old Sony NS330 to be perfect, and they all exhibit the same problem. Any ideas?

Unfortunately I bought a large batch of these DVD's and I currently think there may be a compatability problem with them and this player?

Can anyone else confirm that Infiniti DVD -r x2 white top disks, burnt at x2 speed work or not with this player?

Where can you download the latest firmware, or is that a wast of time?

    Help!

I can confirm that after around 11 DivX movies of flawless palyback quality ive now found out that, allthoguh one of my movies will plays fine on my PC, it will not play on my 3220 at all.

After 42 seconds of playback the picture breaks up and there is nothing that i can do about it. It even locks my machine up and i have to turn it off to remove the disc.

Ive been burning my movies onto TDK CD-RW 4x discs and ive had no problems up until now.

The movie plays fine on my PC but my 3220 won't have any of it.

I'm going to try and find the firmware upgrade and i will give you the link IF i find it. I know that there is one available but i'm not sure if it will sort out our problems.

I have played DVD's fine on my machine that have been recorded on Datawirte 2x yellows. Ive had no problems with them at all.

I wish i could help you my friend.

    :(

It seems that after 42 seconds of playback with this movie, if i fast forward in 8x past the part where it freezes and rewind back in 2x i can get the movie to play perfectly. I only lose 2 seconds of the beginning of the movie. I can live with that. ;)

Ive only found these sites about the 3220 that seem to be any good.

    http://who.is.free.fr/wiki/index.php?Mediatek

    http://translate.google.com/transla...ndex.php?sid=adfad11e5c9653ba2dba48f77f719e0c

Both sites are in french and need to be translated. :(

It's a pitty that there's so little english info on this player and that the official H&b website does'nt have any firmware upgrades available for the 3220.

    WHY?
