    I've the following:-

    Problem
in extended mode, when i switch on or off Plasma or Receiver, my dell monitor also changes resolution, what plasma has!, Clone mode is buggy, i guess it may take more memory

    Looking for suggestions
I need best solution for this setup, ideally for switching between monitors and retaining resolution.

    Many thanks in advance

    Hey Sunil

I have had the same problem for a while now and have not been able to maintain diff resolutions. I have been using Nvidia's control panel. It would be great if someone knew a workaround for this.

Nice to hear from you mate, (i'm sorry for not returning your call, but will be in touch with you soon.)

There is one tool called VIDRES, which allows you to save different resolution settings, but not very effective for me
