Just about to order my Panasonic 37" Viera.

Thought I would check my availability of freeview. No Go!!!!!!!

What are other ways of accessing digital transmissions as I hear the analoge receptions on plasma is very poor!

    Totally Gutted

Don't give up hope! The Freeview postcode checker is *very* conservative - so you may still be able to get it anyway.

Why not borrow a Freeview STB from a friend (or Argos) and try it with your TV?

The freeview website tells me no go as well yet i have all channels crystal clear no probs.I'd check with a local aerial company ,they would be the ones that could tell u if u would likely recieve a good signal and maybe a digital
aerial would be all that is needed.

If you're willing to spend £2000 on a plasma why not get Sky+? You could get about 5 years worth of subscription for same price...

    £33 * 12 = c.£400 p/year for Sky+

Suppose so but that's with assuming a sports/movie package so you get Sky+ without subscription. I watch more TV than DVDs though.

I'm definitely more of a DVD fan than TV, so I guess I wouldn't understand spending that much on Sky. Freeview is more than I'll ever need for TV...

    Cheers,
