I'm sure many will be familiar with the 'Time Crisis' series on the ps2, shooting at the tv with a gun to kill onscreen characters.

Could someone please tell me if these games work with all plasma televisions!?

Not as far as I know as, I believe that the guns work by keeping track of the scanning of the electron gun in a CRT TV. As plasmas 'draw' the picture in a different way, the guns don't work.

I'm sure I read somewhere that there were developments of some guns that would work with plasma but I can't remember where.

There is a gun that will work on Plasmas and with projectors . Its been discussed a few times , try a search . Have to sit a little camera on top of the screen iirc. I'm sure someone bought one ? The cable was to short I think.

Although the cable length issue - surely if its a USB cable as someone says it is in that post then you can just buy a USB extension cable?

I may get one of these, I already have a USB extension to the plasma for my PS2 Eye Toy, if anyone finds any reviews of this gun please post the links (I did a quick google but not found any yet)...
